A Project Completed

Now that both recipients are in possession of their Christmas presents, I can share some pics of my very first, made totally by Lauren, quilts. I completed one other quilt a couple years ago, but my mom had to help extensively on that one. While she did offer some advice and verbal assistance on this one (and an ear to listen to my drama queen ranting about how much I hate ironing large piece of fabric) both of these quilts were cut out, pieced, quilted, ironed, and finished completely by me. I have to admit that I'm very proud of them. I tend to be the type who will start something and not finish, so the fact that I completed these in less than two months is something of a miracle. I found that I really enjoyed the process on these. While there were some parts I wasn't crazy about coughironingcough, in general I had fun with them. It may be hard to see in the pics, but each quilt is personalized with a name or nickname, and each one has Superman Shields in the corners. The quilt at the top is Jenn's. The lower one is Kate's.

Awww, Chad. You're so talented. I LOVE my quilt. If Truffle is a girl, I will be keeping it far away from her. I love the pink and the design .... :::hugs quilt and hugs chaddy:::

I love my quilt! Thank you so much! I took it to Utah and it kept me warm in the car when my dad had the air on ;)
