Two kids showed up last night for bell choir...TWO. Hard to have a bell choir with 2 kids. I guess the others were just out that night for various reasons. I've been told that there will be more kids next week. The children's director told me I could just forget about doing it this week if I wanted to, but the two girls that were there really wanted to play. We pulled out some simple stuff that only required a few bells and did some sight reading. The girls did pretty well with it, and we ended up having a lot of fun. It will be nice though when there are more kids!
It's brrrrrr here today! Nothing like what most of you are dealing with, but it's Florida's version of cold. It's in the 50s right now outside, and we have the heat on. It's fun though. We don't get this kind of weather very much, and we enjoy it while we can.

OK, maybe you can't have a choir, but you can have a handbell duo. I am so proud of you for getting this rolling!
It will happen. The fact you remain motivated, and actually kept going even with the two kids who showed up proves this. It is going to be great, and I really hope you can share some of their music with us eventually because it is a magical idea you have working there. :)
