Proud Auntie...Again!!

This morning, around 4:30 AM, we welcomed a new life into our family. My sister called us last night around 6:15 to tell us that her water broke and she was waiting for her husband to come home and take her to the hospital. My mom, dad, and I met them there and began the long night of waiting. I've gotta say, my sis is tough! When contractions came, she simply screwed up her face a bit. When she got her epidural (which she later said was very painful...much more so than her other two) all she did was let out a small gasp or two. She did great. My dad eventually took my nephew home and put him to bed, but my mom and I stayed all night waiting to meet our new little girl. I feel asleep a few times in the hospital room during the wait (actually, so did my sis and her husband!) and by the time she was ready to start pushing I was exhausted. However, it was all worth it to be able to be there to meet my niece as soon as she arrived.

8lbs, 20 inches of beautiful perfection! God is amazing!

She is adorable and you look very much the part of a proud aunty. CONGRATS!!
You are wonderful with children, and you've been given yet another little person to enjoy and share life with. I can't wait to see lots of updates.
*hugs*

When I was visiting my friend today I mentioned that your sister was able to fall asleep for a bit and she gave me this "no freaking way" look because she was in labor for 18 long hours before they decided she needed a c-section. I have a feeling she was a tad crabby by the time the decision was made.

The newest addition is just beautiful. No scrunchy babies here! And I'm sure you're excited to have another one to spoil!

Congrats to the whole family!

She is sooooo adorable! And I know newborns look kinda funny usually but I really think she's the cutest. And wow, your sis fell asleep?! I hope I can sleep during mine too.
