D made me this beautiful ipe crochet hook for my birthday (if you don't know what ipe is, that is OK. Before I met D, I hadn't heard of it either. It is a kind of wood...very heavy.) I had admired some lovely wooden hooks at JoAnn's one day, so he decided to make me my own. I finally got around to taking some pictures of it.
I used it today for the first time to finish off this baby afghan I have been working on for a friend (probably obvious, but the pink background is the afghan I just finished.)
